Heidi is just amazing - she always has more action going than a one legged man at a bum-kicking competition...
I think it was at the brygge-party for Treas that she decided that we would all go to stay at a little island down the coast a bit, called Jomfruland.
It is a glacial moraine island which was formed during and just after the Little Ice Age, and is basically the result of the melting of the the 3km thick ice-cap that covered Norway at the time ...

Sorry - it's been a couple of days since I last posted, but we've really just been making distance - Treas has the bit between her teeth and we just have to go to Norway! Now! The brothers in Norway have a party planned for Treas's birthday this weekend, so we just have to be home for that! We had booked on the ferry for Friday and there was no way I was going to be allowed to drag my feet getting there, so it was just a couple of days of doing 3 - 400 km ...

... is open. Not a thing. So ferries were a definite no and all fingers were crossed that we didn't have an issue with the bikes as there was no where to fix them. The route was adjusted in a big way. We ended up cycling around 110 miles. Too much for one day, especially with four day old worn down bodies. But we did it. I must admit there was not a ...
