    ... A footpath under the railway led straight into the town.

    We liked Kongsberg very much. The peaceful River Lagen we overnighted by, storms through the town over a horse-shoe shaped weir and down a series of rapids.

    ... dining tables and chairs for maybe 40, and top floor/attic was set up as a dance hall and of course another bathroom.
    I think were about 8 of us to start with, and another bunch of 6 arrived the next day on the ferry.
    Heidi set about re-organising the place, and we were instructed to carry tables and benches from here to there, and ended up with a lovely outdoor setting for us all outside under some massive old oak trees, and we carried the BBQ down as well ...
