Found another great beach to spend some time. We have. Had some technical difficulties so haven't been blogging much. Just golfing and enjoying the sunshine. This really is an amazing place if you love the beach. The food is good in all the restaurants too. Some times the menu is a bit too English for my taste but lots of Local Portuguese fare as well. One of the best things is that maids come twice ...

    ... was more than $250.00!

It was time for our lunch in the forest, featuring the typical foods of the Alentejo (highlands) region. The guides knew a secluded spot along a creek, that was just perfect. Rob and Margarida prepared an absolute feast for us, featuring local cured meats, cheeses, and bread as well as a cake. They even grilled a local sausage for us right at the table, ...

... a table at the Bob Dylan concert with a very nice British couple last night, and had agreed to have dinner together tonight. They drove to a rather plain roadside restaurant about five miles away, and we were able to get a table outside. It was delicious! I had sea bream, that must have been caught today. And lots of Vino Verde, the Portuguese wine I like so much.

Notice that we have not set foot in our rental car since our ...
