Sunday evening my parents started discussing possibly making a trip to Paris, since the train system in Europe is easily accessible and efficient. After some discussion, at 10pm Sunday evening we decided that we were going. Monday morning at 7:51 we were on a train to Paris!

On our way to Paris, we had one transfer in Mannheim to get on the TGV train. We had ...

... the rain has persisted so we head for the butterfly house and wait a while while our specs demist and walk around there, still raining so we walk along the rose garden and the dahlia beds before giving up and heading for coffee. It is surely a lovely spot but not for us today and really this is the first time we have been unlucky with the weather. A group decision is made not to head to Lindau and we ...
