... Peterswerder, Pauliner Marsh, past the Weser Stadion and along the River Weser. We saw the different styles of Bremen houses and the classic Mozartstraße and the 1970s 'highway to hell' Ostertor (Kings Cross type area). We also did a bit of shopping in the morning and met Horst for lunch at 1pm. We went to a Chinese Restaurant for a buffet meal. After the walk we went to the Theatro Cafe for coffee then back to Horst's Office at 6pm and home for dinner and more wine ...

    Our vacation starts

... ever before, our luggage was also there so we headed off to pick up our Alamo rental car. Even that was a cinch. Not even 15 minutes and we had our jeep loaded and headed off to Cape Coral. But alas not everything was easy. We needed over an hour to reach Alligator Alley. The I-75 North was one huge traffic jam which caused us to travel an extra hour. We finally arrived in Cape Coral at 7:30 pm local time. We were so exhausted we headed straight for our beds. No travel pics ...

I've picked up some fresh tomatos, onions and garlic today so I can make a proper gravy for my pasta. I love my ...

... like to get. A new self inflating mattress and a cooker. The cooker is most important to me. I've been traveling for almost four months and, except for the rare occasions where I had a home cooked meal, I've been eating cold food. Furthermore, I've been eating a lot of bad food lately. As it turns out, it's way easier to get a self inflating mattress then a cooker. I didn't buy a mattress though. The ones ...

... I'm close to the parking lot and there's a nice shelter with a table and seats. I spend about three hours, mostly reading, waiting for the rain to stop. Guess I won't make it into Buxtehude after all. When the rain stops, I move towards a part of the forest where there are less walking tracks and, out of respect for the bereaved, where they don't burry ashes. There I find a nice spot to put up ...
