After some online reconnaissance we ventured into the city today for a look around. We drove to a local train station and had no trouble buying day passes from a vending machine for €6 each. Parking was a little drama - the 'park n ride' we drove into closed at 9pm and there was a chance we'd be back later than that. So we parked on the street and stressed about getting a ticket (no, thankfully). Trains were comfortable, clean and convenient, and ran ...

The Federal Republic of Germany has 16 states (including the city-states of Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen) and they include districts and then thousands of municipalities. Some of the 777 middle seats were side-by-side, but most of them were isolated ...

The next 5 hours a packed train brings us north, through Sleswig Holstein, not only memorable for its strife-torn history, but also because its cows, crossed with our Dutch variety, produced the world's most productive dairy cow, the Friesian Holstein. ...

... a lot of water and had similar overreaction emotions like me. So many people you meet while travelling have a completely different view of the world so it was great to chat with someone who just understood certain things. Both Aqua and Brittany went to bed fairly early for backpacker standards which was perfectly fine for me as I was wrecked. More on Copenhagen in the next blog. These blogs may take even more time to happen sorry since I have no data and am yet to find good ...
