... I thought I was ready to, at least look like a normal person riding a bike, but no, this time the seat that had just been changed was starting to go down because we hadn't tightened up the screw enough, which just didn't work.

So, for the past week we have been catching the bus and walking, while we wait for the bike to be taken to the repair shop for the brakes and lights to be fixed...

He explained to me later that they were Germans who lived in England, were ****** from a nearby Oktoberfest party, and he wasn't having them coming into his bar swearing and being arrogant because they weren't from here anymore. He didn't like how they changed because they'd relocated. The irony of this Irish bloke living in Germany wasn't lost on me through his ...

... that someone will try talk to me before we finally decide to get the hell out. Despite the insanity the Reeperbahn is definitely a worth while experience. It feels about as dangerous as being back home and our suspicions about its crime rate are confirmed when a street lady tell us that guys might come up to you, ask for a cigarette or the time, get their friends to surround and you (if you're lucky) steal all your stuff. It is definitely a side to the city that ...
