    Last Nights in Crete :(

A travel blog entry by tanya.lesiuk on Oct 13, 2014

... moments and there definitely were moments where I just wanted to escape hehe but I can appreciate every minute of each. It's easy for people to look back on each experience and recognize the significance after the fact but I've gladly developed the skill of appreciating the significance in the moment, for this I am grateful. Tomorrow I head back to Athens and start the last leg of my adventure in Greece. I'm loosing a bit of steam but I'll have to find the ...

    Accidents Happen

A travel blog entry by tanya.lesiuk on Oct 10, 2014

I'm not sure if I should call this accidents happen, my finest moment, or girl interrupted. As you all know I'm usually a very organized person but lately it's as if I've been brain dead. And now I’m thinking that this is some sort of Snow White scenario, in which he’s poisoned the pomegranate and is now going to feed it to me. He cuts it into segments and gives me half, “you eat, you eat,” so again, I comply. As we are eating I teach him the word pomegranate and realize ...

    A quick stop

... it is very windy and very rough. Tender boats are needed here and if they say it is unsafe no one will be allowed to leave the ship. Unfortunately this proves to be the case. They allowed disembarking passengers off but those who were only visiting briefly had to stay on board. The upper decks were crowded and the wind fierce for the offshore photo shoots. There will be many upswept / wind tousled records of this moment ...
