    FAROS BEACH

The E hotel I am staying these days is at Pervolia, a quiet village situated 16 km from Larnaca.

The last few years it is experiencing significant tourist development mainly because of its sandy beaches and shallow waters. Tourists love this place and this is the reason of the many villas close to the hotel and the round area.

... months after my application I was finally here. It was so surreal. I was far from home for my first time ready to embark on this grand journey. As we circled around the edge of the ocean I could see right through the water, the water was the color of my quince dress ... turquoise. It was beautiful. We landed at the airport. It was the tiniest airport I have ever seen ( well I have only been to LAX, Heathrow, & Gatwick so I am sure I am exaggerating ) but it was tiny. ...

    ... flags now flutter.”

I met Mom back at the municipal market, where we purchased 250 grams of Turkish delights for 5 euros ($6.75). Our hour in North Nicosia completed, we crossed back at Ledra Street into Nicosia at 4:20 and separated so Mom could do some more shopping while walked to view Pafos Gate, where the Green Line cuts across the western city wall. From there, I followed the wall counter-clockwise to the Liberty Monument, ...
