This is a older motel, but very clean with fridge, microwave, in room coffee, and a good free wifi.

I didn't make it to my intended destination because my headlight quit working and it would be near dark before I got there so I opted for a motel in Alturas CA. I check the usual. Fuses bulbs etc but no joy. I suspect the starter switch assembly is the source of the problem.

The 5-hour drive was really beautiful! Mountains and forests surrounded us as we made our way to Klamath Falls to spend the night. We grabbed a quick taco dinner at Raliberto's up the street from our hotel then crashed.

... illegal to do yourself. 'Oh', I said, 'why's that?'. The guy didn't know. I asked if there were any other weird laws in Oregon. People in Oregon seem more hippie. They also love Camo. Every fourth person seems to be wearing camouflage. And the Walmart had weirder people too. And here are a lot more smokers, and weedy looking people. We just stayed in and hooked up the MacBook to the computer, after buying three cables to attach to each other. Stupid Apple ...
