Lovely hotel - clean and cheap :)
Only problem was that being two small girls it was a bit scary having tuk tuk men follow you everywhere.

Ok budget hotel. Nice roof top pool. Koh San Road noise gets into the rooms at night. Good if you fancy a few days of nightlife and shopping

Rikka Inn was the first place I stayed on arrival in Bangkok. Bearing in mind at this point, I am a 19 y/o English female just getting off at 10 hour flight in desperate need of a beer and rice (and wifi).. Checking in was so fast and easy. I was alone, travelling for the first time solo and the staff were amazing, the room was fine for me, compared to some of the other places on Khao San I definitely think it as an amazing value for money. Got a bit noisy at nigh time, however I had many Changs and survived! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wifi could have been better, I enjoyed my stay but you can get the same stuff a lot cheaper. Nevertheless, great location (can't beat it) and there's a swimming pool.

    nice hotel, a little noisy

The Rikka inn was spotless and generally a lovely hotel, its location is both a positive and negative, the Khao San and surrounding streets are the epicenter for young travelers in Bangkok but trying to sleep when people are doing karaoke at 6 in the morning is a little difficult. Te staff were lovely and more than accommodating when we complained about the noise. if your not to worried about a little background noise i would go for it.

We arrived in Bangkok at 7am after surviving the night train and cockroaches by keeping one eye open all night. The hotel we were staying at was on Khao San Road, which for anyone who has visited will know how crazy it is. The hotel was great with a rooftop pool. We had a day of exploring (and there were a lot on this road) and sleeping as we were …

I remember how I felt the days, even weeks coming up to my first solo journey. A feeling of panic, excitement, sickness, and eagerness was overcoming me as the clock ticked to the date; November 28th.
The day I walked out of the office I had so grudgingly stayed at for years, now seemed like a distant gulf of feelings in which now didn't seem …

We wanted to find unusual things to do in Bangkok as we have already seen the most popular tourist attractions last year. For some reason the Erawan museum isn't advertised too much to tourists and we found out about it on the Internet.

It is a giant three headed Elephant that houses three floors which are designed to separate the concept …

Its not very often a bunch of mates you have know for 15 odd years come to Thailand to play a show at the same time you are on holiday there. So we made the effort to travel up to this gig from Koh Phayam and it was worth it! Some fans of Gorerotted and The Rotted were there so I even had to sign a few autographs and take a few photos.
