Excellent location right in the hustle and bustle but still can chill out by the roof pool or front balcony.

Lovely hotel - clean and cheap :)
Only problem was that being two small girls it was a bit scary having tuk tuk men follow you everywhere.

Ok budget hotel. Nice roof top pool. Koh San Road noise gets into the rooms at night. Good if you fancy a few days of nightlife and shopping

Rikka Inn was the first place I stayed on arrival in Bangkok. Bearing in mind at this point, I am a 19 y/o English female just getting off at 10 hour flight in desperate need of a beer and rice (and wifi).. Checking in was so fast and easy. I was alone, travelling for the first time solo and the staff were amazing, the room was fine for me, compared to some of the other places on Khao San I definitely think it as an amazing value for money. Got a bit noisy at nigh time, however I had many Changs and survived! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wifi could have been better, I enjoyed my stay but you can get the same stuff a lot cheaper. Nevertheless, great location (can't beat it) and there's a swimming pool.

    nice hotel, a little noisy

The Rikka inn was spotless and generally a lovely hotel, its location is both a positive and negative, the Khao San and surrounding streets are the epicenter for young travelers in Bangkok but trying to sleep when people are doing karaoke at 6 in the morning is a little difficult. Te staff were lovely and more than accommodating when we complained about the noise. if your not to worried about a little background noise i would go for it.

Starting the New Year with a Bang

A travel blog entry by llcooldays on Dec 31, 2010

We woke up around 5 p.m. on New Years Eve in our tiny little room high above the hustle and bustle of Khao San road in the middle of Bangkok. We had walked down the street a few hours earlier, in a jet-lagged stupor, still stuck in the South African time zone.  Earlier, we were too tired to be able to handle the insanity that is Khao San road …

    The Beginning

A travel blog entry by gem_marc on Oct 07, 2014

After making the decision to have a sleepless night of watching top gear repeats in order to sleep on the plane; the day started with last minute frantic packing and waiting for a typically late Gemma who picked me up half an hour AFTER we were meant to have checked in.. So it began as I predicted! It Is no secret that I have a soft spot for food, …

Found a bar, had a scorpion on a stick for starters and devil beef for main (hottest food ever!) Adele had green curry and washed down with a bottle of sam song. Day 2- Got up late and basically walked round sweating. Same …
