Als er een plaats is binnen Hiroshima waar je okinomiyaki kan eten, dan is het wel okinomimura. Een blok met 4 verdiepen waarvan er 3 gevuld zijn met okinomiyaki-restaurants. Eens gezeten in een klein restaurantje waar er enkel locals zitten komt er al snel iemand met me praten omdat hij min of meer geboeid is door m’n borsthaar (Japan heeft zo zijn rare kanten). ... De toute beauté avec le navire Yamato en format réduit mais très gros et un de mes avions préférés, le zéro japonais. Il y avait beaucoup d'informations instructives. Dehors, il y avait un sous-marin grandeur nature sur le bord de la route. C'est aussi un musée mais il était fermé à l'heure que je suis sortie.

Je suis retourné au restaurant d'hier et j'ai fait la rencontre d'un couple de Montréal.

Arose to a rather bleak looking day. Cloudy with drizzling rain. Our Shinkansen (bullet) train ride to Kyoto took a few hours. Checked into the hotel and walked to Nishiki market in the rain. Went back to Kyoto Train station to see more of it. This place is huge, probably the biggest train station we have seen. Headed back to the hotel via the worlds largest wooden Temple, and it was huge. Will take a rest tonight as the feet are very sore.

I was counting the minutes and thinking of backup plans... Decided to text her since there was a code to unlock the door, maybe she could tell me the code...
As I was about to press "send" I see her running like crazy... My frustration was replaced by guilt! She was really nice,. as soon as she heard she ran back to the hostel, literally!
