    So much to do, so little time

    ... especially cheap, and there didn't seem to be much bartering, as lots of things had marked prices, but they had everything from clothes, shoes, handbags, meat, fish, garden stuff, goldfish, birds, even something that looked like hornets complete with nest! Despite googling I still don't know what they were, but they were twice the size of the largest wasp I have seen, and were very securely held in bags with their nests.

    ... are very polite and bow all the time (3 levels of bowing) but English isn't as widespread as I expected. The women's clothes styles are much more conservative and casual than where we live and ************e in high heels which is the norm here. It's the men's hair fashion and styles that caught our eyes. A lot of statements being made there!
    We stayed one night in Tokyo and took the super fast bullet train ...

    Spent the morning exploring Yuexiu Park were the locals were exercising, relaxing, play games, singing etc.

    I thought I'd go to the airport via subway. It was so easy and cost only a couple of dollars.

    When I boarded the plane I again found someone in my seat. The crew member found that we both had a boarding pass for the same seat. After some time, the couple of moved to the seat in front.

    I then went walk about. It was fascinating watch people go about their business. I enjoyed the unusual foods on offer along the way.

    I went into a restaurant for dinner, the staff were all excited about having a westerner in the restaurant. I was given tea and the cutlery and pressured to order before I could checkout the pictures in the menu. ...

    Going though Chinese customs was again an ordeal, being frisked while all your passport and possessions are just sitting there asking to be pinched.

    Got my fist flight on the huge Airbus 380 and was given a great seat with heaps of leg room, but when I boarded I found my seat was occupied with an elderly lady supposedly with a broken leg, so I guess that broken leg trumps just long legs.
