Today has been the most glorious, gorgeous summery day. Such a wonderful day to be alive! So we had brekky as normal, but after studying the public transport maps for ourselves, decided on the combination of a bus that stopped just up from the hostel, and the tram that connected with it at a later stop. This tram took us all the way to the bus …

- With no talking backpack, you can get to where you need to go in 13 minutes, but it is a serious sweaty uphill work-out.

... some good fried chicken. Boy, did it taste good after today. For the first time in awhile, I finished a big portion of fried chicken wings, fries, and 2 loaves of bread quickly. I was really hungry and it was really good. Georgia On My Mind song came on as we were finishing and it is the last thing I want on my mind! The waters in the canals is just beautiful. You could see the bottom in some parts. Of course wherever you look there is a beautiful mountain range sparkling back at you.
As the evening drew to a close we headed back to our hotel for the evening meal. My other new friend Marian and I headed out afterwards to find a pub to have a drink in. Even if this beautiful country, people still smoke indoors!
... and hitch hike!!! Christa and I waited near the bus stop for about 20mins, then a chap stopped and we got a ride. Down the road a bit, there was Reinhard, so he fitted in too, further on, there were Nico and Keith, still walking. At the car, Reinhard went back to get Nico and Keith.
