So we had brekky as normal, but after studying the public transport maps for ourselves, decided on the combination of a bus that stopped just up from the hostel, and the tram that connected with it at a later stop. So we got to see the beautiful old wooden bridge and attached water tower, chapel bridge, which luzern is famous for and this time we were able to cross right over it (last time you could only go part way as it was damaged by fire). The flower baskets which hang off it look stubbing in bloom and right on cue you have the white swans swimming in the crystal clear water below...what more can I say other than bliss...
