We arrived in to Riga and were greeted by our Couchsurfing host Janis, who took us straight to the beach for a game of football with a couple of his pals. Never would have imagined Latvia had nice beaches, but they are so nice that the area is flooded with Russians in the summer who have built grotesque footballer style mansions along the coast.
We got on really well with Janis and he convinced us to stay a third night so he could take us for a Friday night out in Riga.

Bec went into bathroom to do some washing. Discovered there was no plug in the hand basin. Didn't think that she would be able to wash clothes!!!!!!
