... We left at 7:45 on the dot. The announcer said we'd cross the border at 10:20, nailed it precisely. Furthermore, about 30 minutes after we had crossed into Latvia we were pulled in by the border police who checked everybody's visas, and then we pulled into Riga at 11:56 (ok, ok, 1 minute late. After a great night we rose and went down for breakfast. Thinking we would be lining up again we were told " no, no, you are in the special restaurant" I wasn't going to argue, once again, no kids, no queues, food that hadn't been destroyed by hundreds before you.
