... flea market. It was pouring with rain, but stopped on the way for a dulce de leche doughtnut. AMAZING. The market was nice, it is under the Museum of Modern Art, and is full of antiques, bits and bobs and weird objects. It was a nice experience, and after we headed back to the hostel, making another pit stop at the bakery. ... older people often have. We held candles and placed them in a circle towards the end of the ceremony. There were shrines around the courtyard to gods and goddesses (probably the wrong words) such as the goddesses of the rivers and seas, and also to Saint George (of the Dragon fame) who was seen as a protector. It was a very quiet and contemplative ceremony and seemed to be providing solace and comfort to those attending.

... dominical jog, other bikers, on this bridge, passing small vendors of "Coco Gelado" (Green Coconut), right there, on that bridge. Incredible.

At some point, we went past a big screen called "Impostometro" which shows how much income tax has been paid to the government so far this year. See the picture. The amount of money makes you dizzy and even more when you look around you and see a lot of desolation in what could be a beautiful city.
