... 3:36 PM and ate for 42.75R. We enjoyed traditional mocoto which is a stew made with cows feet, beans, and assorted vegetables. We had enough left overs for dinner. When we finished it was 4:36PM so we took the bus back to our hotel so we got back at 6:32PM. We taught English again to the same students for 3 hours at the same price (65R/h) and managed to make 1170R. It was already 9:32PM and we were starving so we ate the leftovers. ... It turned out that Sao Paulo was quite a good place for saving money - not only were we staying with Priscilla for free, but the city really isn´t built for tourists and is very much based around work. I'll just take it for what it is. Now we have stumbled back to the hostel and Kathy and Jess are already out it is time for me to say buenos nachoes and I hate São Paulo already. ...

... in Brazil. This is a prominent bank here is Sao Paulo, with branches everywhere. There was one directly across from the hotel and several more within a block or so. We arrived at the bank al little early and when we got upstairs to the conference room we found out there was another school set to join us but they were running late. We were also informed that our speaker had to leave and had limited time. He didn't hide this and it ended up feeling ...

Brazilian Hospitality in São Paulo

A travel blog entry by kirsty.md on Feb 02, 2013

... lady stopped her car to ask us if we were ok and knew where we were going. It turned out that the road we had been walking down was not the safest for non-locals to be walking around on! We were very surprised about how nice it was for the lady to stop to speak to us; we assured her we knew where we were going and that we were meeting a friend. About 5 minutes after this we arrived at the park and it was sheer relief to drop our bags. Not long after we sat ...
