Brazil is such a big country. I really had no idea how big until my flight from Zurich reached the Brazilian coast line around Recife in the Northeast of Brazil. From there it was another four or more hours to get to Sao Paulo, located in the South. The scale of Brazil really comes into perspective when you compare it to the size of the continental United States.
