What was not as simple was how the network in the industry works and how the same company can be both partner, competitor, provider and client at the same time – even though it’s difficult to completely understand how people manage in a complexity like that it’s a great insight to have and I believe Alex said the key sentence: Always be sure that interests doesn’t conflict. Sao Paulo is a huge international city, with a sprawl that makes London look like a small town and so many skyscrapers its like being on Manhattan Island but for miles all around. It is the only place I have been on my trip which could genuinely compete with London for culture, arts and gastronomy (a result of an extremely diverse population).

... In Sao Paulo we spent two lovely evenings with a few of Pips old friends who live in Brazil and here we are now in our hotel lobby reminiscing about the unforgettable trip of a life time. We are thrilled beyond belief for having had this liberating, exciting, adventurous, scary, nerve-wracking and utterly spectacular opportunity!

... that long. I really hope it's not another 5 years before we catch up again. On my last day a group of us got lost in the city, walking through graffitti clad streets in a gentrified suburb full of specialty shops. This afternoon I cigar the metro to the bus station after saying bye to Dan (kiwi that I bump into in almost every city thus far), Alfonso ( 40 year old brazillian punk rock lover that busted out ...
