We woke up at 10:00 AM. We got a bunch of food from the vending machine in the front of our hotel for 20R. All that junk food we had for breakfast. We watched TV and caught up on some much needed rest in our hotel room until 1:41PM. We arrived at the restaurant at 3:36 ...

To know that we were so close to our first game was unbelievable. ~ ...

Not knowing what was happening we smiled and nodded and went along with the situation. Then ...

Without doubt the highlight of the week though was the traditional Brazilian “churrasco” we were treated to at Fernando’s parents’ house. An ...

... words he knew in English but did he really think i didn't know it was meat? And, having visited Quebec a lot, I incorrectly assumed more people would speak some English in Brazil. WRONG! It makes sense with the poor public education system, but I had become accustom to people from Quebec and Europe just switching to English as soon as I spoke to accomodate my lazy, monolinguistic butt!

Stuffed with meat, back to the hotel for some sleep (I need it!).
