... minutes. A few on ramps and merges morphs into the metropolitan freeway system which links motorways & overpasses branching off into the city streets. You notice the city building up on either side of you, but it didn't feel like I expected, which was being overwhelmed by skyscrapers & development. It was dark so I couldn't see much, the Marginal, which is Sao Paulo's main river with its familiar "scent'.
