    ... dei Signori where there is a statue of Dante Alighieri, of great interest to us having just read Dan Brown's new book Inferno. A lot happening in this square with a local food and wine festival, a tent set up with speakers as well as tourists and locals. The square is surrounded by palaces built between 12th and 18thC. Also in one corner is the Lamberti Tower, the tallest in Verona at 84m. Had a striped lower part and an interesting staircase on the outside to gain access. ...
