After arriving in Montego Bay we quickly realised that we both love the road less travelled. Here we were again with the American tourists in a resort town with the sketchy local traders trying to aggressively get their two bobs worth out of you. An overnighter in a non-descriptive hotel then a morning flight to catch that took us ...

After 1 1/2 hours of sleep: restless, fitful sleep, I dragged my suitcase to the car in the pouring rain and Steve and I picked up my travelling companion at her apartment. Her apartment which was flooding as the night wore on. Ouch. This was not looking good. She'd used up all of her towels, wrung them out, threw them in the washer on spin cycle and re-used them and they were all soaked again. Not ...

... wares so obviously this beach is controlled by either cops or tourist bureau. No beggers!!

Had a couple of fruity beverages and then Red Stripe. Also grabbed lunch at the restaurant on the beach. Each order something different and share - get lots of flavour - taking advantage of jerk meals. We are both figuring Jerk = Salt - holy salty foods.

Had an excellent beach day and did pretty much the same thing the following day. I stayed in the shade a bit ...
