International Camp Day 2
The sun came up probably around 4:30am which meant that the children got up around 5am which meant that I got up around 5:30am. Noisiest campground I've ever slept at honestly. Hana Matsuri (Flower Festival)
Today was Ashoro's Annual Hana Matsuri. 'Hana' means flower and 'Matsuri' means festival. My Taiko group was set to perform at this event so I had to be there at 8:30am. It took place at Satomigaoka Park in Ashoro at the bottom of a massive hill blanketed with pink, white, and purple flowers.

Just let me drive already
I went to Obihiro today to pick up my drivers license. Supposedly I had been approved to get a Japanese Drivers License after I sent in my 'official transcripts' from university. They were really my unofficial ones, I just put white out over the 'un' part and faxed them in. Gotta do what you gotta do right! Nothing like cheating the system.
