Christmas Light Displays here are huge. Not only the local businesses and homeowners put on a brilliant display but many of the local tourist attractions really show you how to do it. We have previously seen the Butchart Gardens in Vancouver Island so we were looking forward to seeing the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park Christmas Lights this year. Decided to go mid afternoon ,to see everything before dark and to see ...

I usually spend the sunrise on disembarkation day up on deck wandering around and taking pictures. Woke up in time, but couldn't figure out how to get out without disturbing Joy. And as she's tolerated having the curtains open the whole cruise, I was going to let her sleep. All too soon it was time to get up and leave. I was prevented from eating on the back deck because the doors were locked. Bummer, so I ate by the ...

... 8230;.apparently , in Vancouver, a 'suite' is what we consider an apartment……..language problems yet again in an English speaking country; well actually dual- language as most signage is in French as well. We improved our Spanish vocabulary in Florida and now our French.

So we were able to relax with lots of space. Kitsilano, the neighbourhood we stayed in, is an attractive suburb with ...
