    ... version, has only 13k's on the clock when we picked it up. Back to Chamonix and we popped down to watch the Climbing World Cup. We were drinking a beer, sitting in the square and life was pretty grand. Check out the guy hanging on the Zlagboard. This was attracting all the macho-men.     ... shows there are several mountain passes in excess of 2200 m close by. The view was nothing spectacular ( we are spoilt for choice) and after a quick drink and a rest to allow the heart rate to settle it was back down again.

    The ride back through the outskirts of Chamonix is entrancing, with the only real difficulty being how to juggle 2 fresh baguettes and 3 croissants on the tri bars up the last hill to our apartment.
