So, our first stop today took us too Kirkenes....this is a frozen little town close to the Russian border. Boy it was cold....and frozen! It was so dangerous underfoot that it ceased to become fun quite fast!

Our flight to Kirkenes left at 9am this morning from Oslo. We took the train to the airport again, had a delicious breakfast of fresh buttery waffles with berry jam and whipped cream while we waited to board and then had an uneventful 2 hour flight North. The landscape here is much more barren than near Oslo. The trees are small and they are not as green. We took a us from the airport to our hotel which only took 10 minutes or so. .This is the last ship blog. We spent yesterday visiting a husky farm, they breed and train huskies in this frozen north land.







We got a chance to meet come huskie puppies




Some areas are snow, some are frozen tundra being summer time. It depends where the gulfstream strikes.
