I saw the northern lights for the first time tonight! It was so cool! They were this soft green pulsing sort of movement that just floated around and danced just over the tree tops. I love my job. I really do. Each of the residents is so unique, and interesting and the people that I work with are all so patient with me. We get to go on small trips almost every day to give the residents some variety, so I also get to see more of the area around us. I also went with a group to Oslo for the day, but we didn't see much, so I feel like I still haven't been there ...

Anne-Marie is here, we are ready to leave. We have packed our small backpacks, but we will have to repack them several times to be sure we do not carry too much unneccessary stuff to the Far East. It will be hot enough, for sure. Anne-Marie doesn't know how hot it will be, but she is very brave.
