On the ferry we did an interview with someone for his business studies. After disembarking we rode ninety one kilometres to the next ferry. We had to ride so slowly and carefully with the head gasket leaking, the paper gasket had completely blown out and burnt. We were given a detailed tour of the facility including the training simulators, repair hangers, operations center and the most important avionics section. Wideroe Airlines holds many top ISO and "green" certifications. They have 380 arrivals and departures each day.

Thanks to another Rotarian/employee of Wideroe, who's name escapes me for the moment,for a wonderful tour of this modern airline. ...
