    ... appeared across the canyon pretending to sing a beautiful Norwegian ballad piped in to our faraway platform while she disappeared in one spot then popped up in another.

    I would say it was cheesy if I didn't secretly hope to come back in my next life as her. Except not in the cold, driving rain.

    We probably passed 50 waterfalls as the winter snow is now melting, filling the rivers and streams beneath as they thunder along in white water rapids.

    ... by own horn here: As most of you know I am allergic to exercise and have never, ever, gone on a mountain bike ride.     ... 1923,it was begun and in 1940 completely operational to the Fjord,some of the huge tunnels had a curve of 180o..so on a perfect day ,we were able to see the spectacular sights along the way, as we climbed up to Myrdal,crossing the river and the falls along the way, many times,through tunnels protected from the avalanches.

    ... But the downside is it is a little early to do all activities e.g certain hikes that are still closed because of snow and ice, and certain tours don't start until June. So depending on what you really want to do, do your research before.     We woke to a rainy morning which was a tad disappointing -- I was sure the two rainbows the previous day would bring bright skies and cool air. I was so wrong on that prediction.
