      We stayed up to try and catch the lights, but the sky never really cleared in the north.       Early breakfast so we could see 13th centry church on the way out of port. missed it!

      10:20 Video in bar on "Tromso capital of the north" interesting. Getting increasingly foggy.

      Moved to viewing lounge, only there is no view, it's now foggier and snowing.

      ... where I meet up with one of my best friends that left 2 weeks ago, Amy. Had a nice time there a good catch up and a bit of shopping, then back to the ship to sail away again. This cruise is 12 days in Norway. Crossing the open water was a little rough but I was ok. First port of Bergen was nice, small little town. Explored the markets and just went for a drink. Really expensive in Norway... 5 for a can of coke! The sea when sailing to the next ...

      ... First the head disappeared, but a minute later appeared closer to the shore. It was a Sea Otter, extremely cute! I think it was as interested in me as I was of it. We watched each other for a few minutes, then it dove under and appeared again further out. This definetely was a highlight.

      Oh and then we stopped at some old World War 2 fort with some big gun sticking out, but I didn't pay much attention.
