So Pete arrived back fuelled up and with supplies 2 1/2 hours after leaving so we ate tuna salad at about 10:30 pm but it had stopped raining. Today we had a lie in and let about 7:30 and misty weather, Pete thought he had found a short cut but instead it turned out to be another gravel road and whilst we have stopped seeing rupert - see previous posts - we did encounter a gaggle of geese crossing the road. The journey was not too bad and we arrived at a place called bogen about 4 ...

... How different life must be - remote from the village, which is remote from the nearest town, itself hours away by boat on a remote island, in the far north of Norway. There was a full moon and it was stunningly beautiful, although a little chilly. Wrapped up in my big fur hat ( thank you Natalie) it was magical. We stayed outside till about 1 am but no ...

Moved to viewing lounge, only there is no view, it's now foggier and snowing.

... new dress for my slimmer new figure :-) Chilled out in Gibraltar, where it was nice to see English culture (fish and chip shops) and hear flaunt English spoken. Was an odd feeling at first. Thirdly finally have a cabin mate. It meant I had to move cabins in with the other female shoppie; Eli. But got two new male shoppies so is nice to have a full team even if we are out numbered 4 to 3. Means less heavy boxes to move... maybe. Finally I made ...

... First the head disappeared, but a minute later appeared closer to the shore. It was a Sea Otter, extremely cute! I think it was as interested in me as I was of it. We watched each other for a few minutes, then it dove under and appeared again further out. This definetely was a highlight.

Oh and then we stopped at some old World War 2 fort with some big gun sticking out, but I didn't pay much attention.
