A few more short hikes, including one to a waterfall that you could walk behind, completed the day.

Leaving Lienz mid morning for Bled the weather slowly got worse with rain setting in as we neared Slovenia. By noon we were five kilometres from Bled, but the weather wasn't nice and we decided that we may as we'll drive to the south and go see Postojna caves. The typical tourist conversation of “where are you from” and “where have you been, or “where are you going,” was underway. The woman said they had visited many US states and then she proceeded to name the 50 states in ALPHA order! At the end, she declared, “There are five I haven’t seen. They are Alaska, Iowa, Indiana,Oklahoma and Tennessee.”

... the day off. We were picked up by Denis and taken to Kranjska gora, where we make a stop at the beautiful Jasna lake, an entry point to the biggest national park in Slovenia, Triglav National Park. From there we make our way to the highest mountain pass in Slovenia – Vršič 1611m, which gave us a great view of the surrounding mountains. Here we did a short hike of about 30 minutes to a nearby peak with some nice views views. We then continued to ...
