With the lake's beautiful clear water, island with an old church in the middle of the lake, beautiful green hills all around, large mountains from the Julian Alps in the background, and a large castle on a tall cliff above the lake, Bled definitely looks fit for a Disney princess. ... to a track. It was a lot faster than I thought and a bit of a thrill coming down. It wasn't so much of a thrill when my hat came off half way down meaning a good 20 minute hike up to go fetch it. ... just hung out at the hostel, chatting, watching movies and listening to music with everyone. Ben slept all day as it turns out he was up all night the night before with food poisoning, assumed to be from the kebab that night.
