We were excited to finally hit the road and make our way more west into Texas. The weather still wasn't great but we had hope. We drove across southern Texas to Laredo. A small town right on the Mexican border. We stopped at lake Casa Blanca State Park to set up camp for the afternoon. It was game day so we knew we had to find a good place to watch the Pats. As usual, we stumbled onto our new
favorite restaurant in one of the most unusual places, at a Stripes
Service Station! While I was tanking-up the Taj-Ma-Ford Teena
went in to get a fountain drink, took one look around, came back and
told me to find a parking place for our rig and come in for lunch.
Stripes houses the Taco Factory, a Mexican Deli much in the nature
of a Central American Bus Stop ...
