... invited into another private home for a party with locals. Our host's mansion is a treat for the senses, with birdcages everywhere filling the space with beautiful melodies. Unfortunately my cell phone images of the party aren't up to my usual standards, but you will get the idea. The tour is certainly off to a wonderful ...

... we twist and turn through narrow alleys to a door which opens into a historic home steeped in Moroccan traditions. Our gracious host has thrown a lavish party, and invited some of the locals – one of whom has owned a Riad here for over 30 years (he hails from South Dakota originally). This wonderful gentleman has amazing stories to tell, and he invites us to his home for a party tomorrow night. We are overwhelmed, and gratefully ...

We got to the campsite which had big tents with 4 beds each so we bunked with the other Canadians. We had chicken Tajine for dinner (can't get enough of it) and watermelon for dessert! We then had (small) bonfire and listened to the staff play drums and sing. Afterwards we lay under the stars. Was beautiful as it ...

... s Cafe, made famous in the movie Casablanca. A quiet afternoon followed, then we went exploring again for dinner, into a really vibrant square, however it was obviously much more modern than the other cities we'd seen.

Overall - we had an amazing time! For the most part, the people were incredibly friendly, and we never felt sketchy about the fact that we didn't have a guy with us to protect us! A fantastic experience in an amazing country, if you get the chance to visit you should!
