There are a lot of restored houses in the old town which are all small museums.     ... no wonder the artefacts and wall decorations were in such good condition. There was an interesting looking book about the tombs displayed in a glass case next to the ticket office, I asked to buy it. The ticket lady could not sell it to me as it wasn't her job and her colleague wasn't around. The dead hand to communism lingers on..... I had a similar experience in the post office.     ... are more difficult but we enjoyed the challenges! Our instructor even began teaching us techniques from intermediate level so we are more eager to get back next year and attempt the black runs!! We thoroughly enjoyed the skiing, the atmosphere, the beers(at the eagle), wine and the fantastic food each day and night! We even got diploma certificates :) Sadly though our skiing had to come to an end but we weren't heading home yet, next stop Sofia for 2 nights ...
