My flight to New Zealand is in 4 days and I think I have everything ready to go. It is hard to say though because I have never planned for a trip quite like this.

The main supplies I will be bringing are:

... was in order. Big day. Woke to a fine but cooler morning. Sightseeing on the agenda today. Our first stop was FDR's house at Hyde Park. We saw a short film & then took a tour of the house. Really interesting & now have to go home & read up on him. Sounds like an American Gough Whitlam & the whole Polio/never being seen in a wheelchair thing is so unbelievable. ... crazy good. It was called a tuna salad toasted flatbread with potato chips not pasta salad. What it was; pizza dough with cheese kneaded into it then cooked. Cover it in iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion & tuna salad, fold it in half & toast it briefly. Potato crisps on the side. Oh my god. $9. Not sure I remember much about the morning before we arrived in Hyde Park to visit the FDR site. I still am a bit confused - having been excited by the fact that the National Park Service ran something here....but not everything.
