... there quickly. So we jumped on the train in Mannheim at 7am and arrived at Kassel at 9:30am. We managed to make our connecting train, but the train never left the platform due to "technical issues."
We had to wait for another hour for the next Kurhessenbahn. Thankfully the next one was working and we managed to get to Korbach to seal the deal. I took the opportunity to visit the ALDI Nord again and buy some Trader Joe's cranberries. Then we drove ...

As I mentioned earlier, I attended a ton of social events during the first week and I've already made a ton of friends from all over the globe. I haven't had the chance for any real tourist activity yet, but I'm hoping to start that this weekend with a trip to Prague!
We met up with Paula's friend Tina at the Cineplex and went into the Sneak Peak which ended up being a war movie called Lone Survivor about a group of Navy Seals fighting for survival in Afghanistan. Although based on a true story, the screen play wasn't too great and the action scenes a little unrealistic. How can you fall down two cliffs and still walk away! In the end the was only one survivor, even the rescue team gets blown up! At least I walked away with a free DVD!
