... of fun really. The boys enjoyed running their hands through the cool mountain water whilst Lucy and I did all the work! This will change in time...

Back at the house, we are packing as we have decided to leave tonight and avoid the heat of the day. The boys are expending energy in the paddling pool whilst Lucy uses the peace and quiet to repack our bags. It seems on our holidays that the bags never seem to stay empty for long.

Jaskinia Niedźwiedzia - The Bear Cave

A late breakfast at around 9am - we are getting lazier the longer we stay here and the more we relax! We had managed to book ourselves tickets for the Bear Cave for 12:25 so had the morning to kill playing badminton and reading. I nipped out to the shop for milk as the boys seem to drown their cereal at the moment and are using it faster than we can buy it. We left the B&B at around 11:00 and drove up to the furthest car park near the cave. Last year we walked ...

They showed us around their japanese garden and described all the ying and yang elements as well as their own version of 'sunset boulevard' where visitors they consider to be worthy can leave their handprints in cement in the garden. We were obviously ...

Another gentle hike today and some more waterfalls, this time the falls at Międzygòrze. We also visited these last year, but were short on time and did not spend more than an hour here. At 27m high, it is one of the tallest in Poland. Accessible via a steep rocky walkway that curves high around the basin of the pool, a large stream feeds the outlet and sunny glades are visible through the low hanging ...

... was protected from 1981 as the "Stołowe Mountains Landscape Park" and covers an area of 13600 ha.

After an ice-cream at the bottom, we piled into the car once again and headed towards Stronie and the B&B we stayed in last year. As the hosts are friends really, they are very hospitable and always helpful. We spent the evening relaxing in the garden and had an early night ready for some hill walking tomorrow.
