45 kms.... AM - First stop this morning was at the large man made lake Jezioro Sulejowskie. This is a huge lake on the Pilica river with yachts & marinas & sandy swimming beaches. But it was a bit early for a swim & there were no change rooms, toilets etc at this beach. Moved on and took a photo of this very old wooden church in Tresta, near the lake. Easy ride along good roads into Spala, the former hunting capital of Poland! PM - Had a salad lunch in Spala then ...

Had a cold drink although Lana's tonic water had no ice,; that's another thing, their drinks here are barely cold and never, ever have ice in them! ... up! lol!). I ended up finding leggings at grocery store. It didn't matter how silly I looked because any outfit goes in Europe and I was warm, which was all that mattered :) Ladies, beware of a dress and a will never come off winning!

We rode our bikes to a Jewish Cemetery on the other side of town. What a fun bike ride to a place that has such deep meaning for the culture of Poland. Ben has been amazing with directions and we found ...

... There were very few war time houses. Most building were blocks of flats from the communist time.
We went back to the hotel and they had a walk into the town. It was quite different from home. Willow found a really brilliant shop full of wool, thread and lovely things to sew with. They went into a pretty church.
The rest of the afternoon was spent having massarges, writing and swimming.
