Weather: a hot day, low 30's. Nice gentle breeze when sitting in the shade. Clouded over and cooled down late in the afternoon. Showers later in the evening.

Today was our day to stay in Perigueux - no driving. We have already travelled more than 1000 km in five days. It is wonderful to be free to go where ever you want, but it is tiring as you have to concentrate a lot more when you are driving on the 'wrong' side of the road. ...

Weather: We awoke to grey skies and it had been raining overnight. Last night we checked out today's weather which was sunny with some clouds and in the mid 20's. But it turned out to be a very sunny day and the afternoon was quite hot. We did see one sign saying 32C.

The chef had worked in high end restaurants before deciding to start his own, with just himself in the kitchen and his wife out front.
