          ... Maldives.

          As we have been using the same credit card the whole time here, we ended up booking a water villa for FREE, using all the points we’ve accumulated. Nervous we’d be staying in a toilet on stilts, we showed up and it was spectacular. Placed perfectly into a serene lagoon, we spent the next two days swimming around, doing some snorkel, and generally losing ourselves in the serenity.

          ... stop and take a few shots. The ruins were of a few adobe small houses of the previous century and I never understood the reason of the sign showing that photos are strictly prohibited. I respected the law, did not take photos of the ruins but I find it ridiculous.

          After my last momos at Yogesh's (also the title of my memoir/movie of my life) my volunteer family seeing me off and the most amazing views of the mountains, I finally left Nepal. The flight was uneventful (thank goodness) and I knew that reverse culture shock would set in at some point I didn't realize it would happen so soon.           Now on plane to Doha, to meet up with Ann and John - Mick s cousin and husband who live there. Seat allocation - 23 !!!! Looking forward to seeing them both but at the moment just wishing I could stay just one more day to see Katie do bungy jump. But then if I had another day we d have only added another day to trip and tomorrow I d be saying - wish I had another day just to ....... And so on . So just be happy it happened ...
