Claudia came, the typhoon retreated. God is blessing!
Tks to Claudia's trip, we had the chance to get all gathered in Hangzhou, with Claudia coming from Singapore, Yuchen & Jintao from France with their lovely Lena, Pan & Ma from Jiangyin, Xiaolin & Zhang on holiday back from France, and of course Yiyun and I based in Hangzhou.

... October Monday night has been Hotpot night. We go to Shabu Shabu and eat. People have come and gone from Wenzhou and Monday night hotpot, but as long as we don't have plans that require us to be out of town that's where you will find us. ... graduation. In addition to the diplomas being handed out, we also had the school awards for all grades, and some scholarships handed out. It was nice to see some of the hard working students get rewarded for their efforts. After the grad ceremony, we went to a dinner in a banquet hall at the Howard Johnson hotel near the school. I wiggled a switch on the grimy fan mounted on the wall and we found some reprieve from the heat.
