    ... At the time I didn't know they were disgusting, so we got some for the fun of it. I ate mine with appropriate politeness for a museum, but when I caught up with Pete and gave him one, his response was to gag, look shocked, and ask me not whether I liked them, but where I spat mine out. We thought this might be a good advertising slogan for them: "Lškerol: Where will you spit yours out?"

    ... surrounding village looked like it was an affluent area with lots of red painted wooden houses with terraces set around a lovely lake with a fountain. It really was too hot to do anything else so we headed back to the digs and I am currently sat in the garden with a coffee. Off out tonight to a local hostelry for a beer (only £4 a pint) and some food. All in all a quiet day. Another big riding day tomorrow I believe so early night for me later Catch you all ...

    ... is from. 8-9 and there was a small pizzeria down the road so we ate there tonight. The b&b looks like it is in the middle of Milton Keynes - it is very strange but is our home for 2 nights. So far over 700 miles ridden and it is only day 3 - I think Tomorrow is a bit of a rest day - Swedish railway museum, galve old town and time to repack my stuff into some semblance of order. Off to bed now so will sign off ...

    Well, we slept OK on this old piece of road and no disturbances except for the light - it hardly went dark at all this far North. So light in fact we are up at 0430 and after a coffee en route by 0515 so now we feel we have been driving for ages, and of course we have. Not sure where we are heading today except towards Umea and we will try to find a nicer overnight stop when we are too tired to continue. Well, 1700 hours local time and we are in a ...

    ... out here!! Just like Martina who I am staying with (Frida organised through her connections and intimidation to get me wwoofing esq. work here). Martina runs a farm on this Island, Finnhamn.
