    ... at a windmill is look at it so we did which was anticlimactic but my family was super supportive of my interest and helped to find the best angle to get a photo of it :). We caught the next bus which took us back to the area where we are staying. We did a bit of souvenir shopping and now we are back in our room and it's time to make a decision about where to eat tonight. Hope you all had a great day too! Tomorrow we are visiting Anne Frank's house. I get teary just thinking about it. ...

    ... get back to Freiburg without being completely exhausted. I'm not sure if it was the beautiful 60 degree spring weather we had for the weekend, or the city itself, but this trip was one of my favorites. Traveling with no schedule, agenda, or time constraints, and simply to explore and enjoy the city and sites also made the weekend that much more enjoyable. Although I still carry my city map with me in my pocket, I am definitely learning to get lost in the right direction..

It is very well set up, you go first through the factory which is now just bare rooms with information around, quotes from Annes diary and short video clips. You then go through the bookcase which was the secret doorway to the annexe, up the ridiculously steep Dutch staircase and into the annexe itself.
