... and we were both very hungry, so we found a steak place which was right across from the tube, it was nice but it was very touristy as far as prices go. Still it was among not many options still open :) After dinner we walked a bit but it was cold so we headed to the tube, lucky we ran and a friendly man from the underground helped us to the last tube for the night. Returning to the apartment looking forward to a good nights ...

... I look around the room observing other people, not sure where to look. I wanted it to end as soon as it had started. By my count the half an hour is over, but the lights aren't coming on, then out comes the fruit. The girl patrols the crowd, staring deep into every mans soul, she looks at me and I refuse to look away, don't show her you're scared, she walks off the stage opposite side, she's got three random guys, next .. Jack! I feel like this couldn't get better but, it does. ...

While both dean and I had ...

... and buy the tickets for the next sight, the Rijksmuseum. I wasn't in the mood to queue yet again today!

To be honest, the Van Gogh gallery didn't interest me that much. I think I went partly because it's one of the cities top sights, although I didn't really find his artwork that interesting. There was also a display for another artist, Felix Vallotton, and I thought his artwork was a lot better.

Before heading to the Rijksmuseum, I thought I should have lunch, ...

    Rijks Museum & Boarding AmaSonata

A travel blog entry by westolz on Apr 30, 2014

... We walked about 5 blocks to the AmaSonata (of course dragging our luggage with us). We checked in and were escorted to our rooms which were across from each other. After unpacking, we went up to the Lounge where we were served a snack & dessert. We sat with Brenda & Sherm from Rock Hill, SC, Jodi & Bob from ND and Linda & Mario from Wyoming. Sherm is a pilot with United so he & Robert had lots ...
