... three teenage children. They had only been walking for three days and only planned to walk for two more, and they didn’t have credentials. I believe that they were tourists more than pilgrims, and their behavior confirmed this. It is very unusual for pilgrims to arrive so late, and I can only assume that they had not started walking until late in the day. When they arrived, they just sat around for an hour and half until they started to make ...

We then tried to make our plans for walking tomorrow. I told them that there was no need for them to change their plans on my account, that I was perfectly capable of walking alone. I went back to bed to continue my nap.

At this point, I was feeling very ...

    Day 40-

I woke up today feeling not feeling quite right after the meal last night. The hiking would have been quite good had it not been for that. We diverted from the road to take a more interesting trail, and it wound around a lake and up and down through hunting grounds. It was very beautiful and very muddy.

We stopped in Bazas for lunch, to eat at a local restaurant. This restaurant was pretty terrible, ...
