    ... nose. Slight buzz on the tongue with good acidity and medium length. Good aperitif.

    2. Sauvignon Blanc 2014

    Very grassy nose with herbs and some tomato leaf or box tree. Why peach n the palate, soft and refreshing.

    3. Côté 2013

    50% C******nay, 50% Sauvignon. Apparently originally made as a mistake when trying to get the harvest in quickly!

    Clear and pale with a peachy nose which follows through with sweet ...

    ... had a lively nose and sweet note on the palate.  This was closely followed by the 2013 vintage which had spent about a year in barrel - this had already got colour but tasted of liquorice but was smooth and destined for greatness! From the distillery back to the tasting room for a lovely lunch - there were patés and small sandwiches along with some fabulous cheese including two cows cheeses - Saint-Félicien form the Rhône-Alpes and my all time favourite Mont ...

    ... the local basket ball court.. The local twelve year old boys are trying to impress us with their Pele, foot ball manoeuvres ..the two fat ladies , one quite obviously a dyke serving us up badly presented but tasty lasagna ..... Terry drinking the worst white wine she's ever tasted...Helen and drinking chateau cardboard red , which was quite ok..... Time for bed... Going back to to the timber shack and only because there is only five of us... Us ...

    Just as a reminder... This was the gite communal that was being run by the two elderly French men as volunteers for the week... We stayed there with Martin the German man from near Munich... We helped the elderly men with the cooking and reparation.. They were both really funny old characters..much teasing and laughter with the elderly men... I cooked the potatoes that they were going ...
