... have any concern at all for the others in the room. When we awoke the next morning at 6am, we found that they had left the kitchen a terrible mess, and we were forced to clean their dishes just to make our breakfast. We made sure not to be too quiet doing this. Sometimes you meet wonderful people, and sometimes, you meet people like this. I’d be glad not to meet them again. At this point, the teacher came in to talk to me. He told me that there was no way that they would be leaving me behind and that we would continue to St-Jean-Pied-de-Port as three. ... bed were more springs than mattress. The paint was peeling from the walls, and though it was quite cold after the storm, none of the heaters worked. There were two bags filled with trash in the kitchen, and three more sitting outside on the porch. The true shame of it is, that when the owner invited me to his home to briefly use his wifi (which was a nice gesture), his home was beautiful and clean and very well kept. He also had ...
