      ... of schnitzel you would like. I really enjoyed Schnitzelburg, so much in fact that after polishing off my schnitzel I helped the girls to finish off theirs. I'm not sure if it is the schnitzel, or if it is the sausage (from the pig), or if it is the beer but I seem to have picked up a slight ailment since we have been in Germany, I believe it is known as German Gut. We may have to do some strenuous bike rides on the flatlands of the Netherlands to help me get over this ...

      ... do so. This is a far cry from the old times where one just sort of knew it was time to tie the knot. Both parties sort of knew, one was brave enough to sprout the topic and the other nodded in agreement. The happy couple paid their own wedding, they both went to choose rings to their liking and picked a date in the near future. Not too romantic, true, but also not too embarrassing in case you are not sure, or don’t like his taste in rings (this is the girl's perspective). ...

      ... felt like at the time, the longest street in Berlin (at this stage it was about 35 degrees and 3 o'clock in the afternoon as we trudged up the street with our backpacks). Arrival at the apartment was somewhat stressful as the lady with the key exclaimed "Oh there's four of you!" after being told that only three of us were staying... So we were without bedding for one person. Aside from that the apartment was nice and would do for 6 nights. We unpacked and had a lie down before ...
