Had a great day, went from Deventer to Holten on the train, people in Holten were happy to help Canadians! Nice and quiet and a good ...

Private homes looking so pretty, a church crossed with a hotel where the priest served the beer, castles in middle of river and huge cruise boats heading in both directions. Auto and are great highways except when blocked so then all lanes with massive amounts of trucks crawling along. Added an hour to our trip to trip to Wurzburg for the ...

... some of her land today, she knew all kinds of trees and plants, and it was very fascinating as she pointed them out to us.
Another great part about this farm is the strawberry patch. The strawberries grow so thick and are so unbelievably sweet! There are times between lunch and supper that Rachel and I get a bit hungry and sneak on over to the strawberry patch. We george ourselves with strawberries and contentedly and innocently return to the house. Maybe not so innocently... ...
