... We had to push the button for it to stop but the funning thing was the door was in this rock wall with the train track behind it. When the train pulled up the steel door opened and there was train. It was so cute. There was 3 cable cars to get to Alpen Tower that looked over the township of Meiringen and onto the surrounding mountains. The trip up was spectacular in its self but when we walked along the ridge line at the top of the cable car we were speechless ...

... the Chariot Strollers. This trail was advertised as not being suitable for strollers. I have now come to understand that one needs to heed this type of trail advice as …they are usually right! But for Richard - mountain man that he is, it was no problem! The double chariot bounced, heaved and cradled their gorgeous kids down the trail with absolute ease (and some tricky maneuvering on Richard's part).
