... a strange meal of bacon, bread, cheese and crackers and a solid caramel pie for desert before calling it a night! So we had reached our last day in Noosa and we had a pretty relaxed day. After a leisurely morning window shopping on Hastings street we had a walk along beach and lunch at Gaston who did a really good steak baguette! We were heading for our final destination that afternoon as we drove down to Brisbane and the Novotel on Creek street. We dropped the car off although the ...

We are very impressed with the park (apart from obnoxious boy!) and they even gave us free drink cards for the local Surf Lifesaver Club. OK we can go there for tea tonight! ... NSW we needed to make one quick trip back over the border to go and visit Surfers Paradise. This renowned holiday hotspot is home to a lovely beach which sadly was filled to bursting point with people and sits under the shadow of a metropolis of highrise hotels and apartments. Paradise it is not. Having been so spoilt with the most stunning clean, and empty beaches down the coast, it is beyond me why anyone would choose to come to this mad house. We spent the ...
