    ... the birds are singing, we just passed a lollop (Jean says the correct collective noun for Manatees is "aggregation" but I prefer "lollop") of about 14 Manatees (Ken's numbers not mine), the bridges are opening for us, and everything is perfect in Paradise. The Port engine just packed up, but hey, who's being picky?

    ... but the waters can always throw you a curve ball. And it did. Suddenly the markers multiplied exponentially and it was hard to tell what was what. Adding to this situation was the fact that a shipping lane intersected our course. Shipping lanes mean BIG SHIPS. And then there were crab pots. Bridge St, the "main drag". where, quite by accident, we found ourselves at the same waterfront Tiki bar as an old friend from Havergal now retired from St. Mikes who is also wintering on AMI.
