    ... bean pods, followed by chicken, pork yakitori, baked onions that kept coming out. I lost count as to how many plates there were but they were really soft and sweet. We also had fish but Joseph had two potato patties. The last dish was asparagus wrapped in ham.     ... who stay in the hostel. They are all Japanese except me. Most of them can speak a little English. I talked a bit with Takao a Japanese maths teacher. Japanese people are kind of preserved. They try to keep their life secret for you. So they will do if they didn't hear your question or they try to be very secret about it and talk around it.

    And after a nice skype session with my parents it is already bed time. The beds are so soft!

    What a magic day. In the morning we made fresh tracks through powder knee deep, which was magic. Later we did some off piste skiing through waist deep powder which was fun but tricky. Fell once, and couldn't get out of the snow to put the skis on!
