... beach we return to afterword. The sun begs us to screen up as we nap, but sharing the shade with a stray perro is more enticing. Nearby is a small beachside craft market, and it convinces us to try what the vendors on the beach have been calling out into our subconscious, a palmero, which turns out to be a big flat version of a palmier sugar beach cookie.
