We left Astoria and headed south in HWY 101 South. We stopped in Cannon Beach - an quaint little seaside town. It has amazing beaches much like Tofino on Vancouver Island. ... to the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC. This was the first year he could not drive himself up the coast and to the gardens so Laurel sacrificed a couple weeks of her time to join him on this vitally important journey to the perennial bloom on Victoria Island.

Laurel paid for a bundle of wood and Levi, Laurel and I struck up a fire out back enjoying dinner and listening to Laurel's stories of faith and miracles. Goodnight.

... we were leaving late afternoon / evening, we knew we were going to have to stop somewhere along the coast to either camp or get a cheap room for the night.
